Bianca was born on September 19, 1989. With each passing year the board members have chosen to celebrate Bianca’s birthday, by choosing a charity that had a special meaning to Bianca, or one that she would have supported, and make a donation in her honor. The amount of the donation will reflect the age Bianca would have turned on that particular birthday. In the upcoming years, if funds allow, the donation amount will continue to align with Bianca’s age.

In honor of Bianca’s 33rd birthday, a donation was made to the Blue Chip Farm Animal Refuge in the amount of $3,300. Blue Chip Farm took amazing care of Bianca’s Bella and Benny , and found them both “furever” homes! Brooklyn was able to play with some of the dogs when she visited and had the best time!

On Bianca’s 34th birthday a donation of $3,400.00 was made to Laura’s Hope Rescue. This animal rescue had a special meaning to Bianca and the foundation was so pleased that the donation could be given to help support their cause. Also, in honor of Bianca’s 34th and Betty White’s 100th Birthday, and their strong admiration for animals, the foundation made a monetary donation to
PAWS (Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society) in Philadelphia.

The board members felt Bianca would have jumped on the opportunity to join in on #TheBettyWhiteChallenge  and make a donation to an organization like PAWS!

To honor Bianca on her 35th birthday, The Bianca Beck Memorial Foundation made another donation to a place that helped shape who Bianca was. On September 19th, Bianca would turn 35, so the foundation donated $3,500 to her alma mater, Forest City Regional High School’s tech department, which will be used in the school’s television studio by the Digital Media class taught by one of Bianca’s favorite teachers in high school, Mrs. Terri Braz Erdmann.

Bianca took Public Speaking I and II with Mrs. Erdmann and went on to major in Communication Studies at Temple University in Philadelphia. While in high school, Bianca was also involved in the drama club and choir. She was a natural born performer and would have loved to be involved in a school television studio had it been around when she attended.

On August 22nd, some members of the foundation and Bianca’s family met with Terri Erdmann and some administrators at the high school to preview the equipment that was purchased. In the television studio, students at the high school present the daily announcements for faculty and students each morning using the tech equipment to edit the screen, such as the sounds and background behind them. The members and Bianca’s family got to see a bit of how the equipment works, especially Brooklyn!

She was in her element up in front of the green screen with some of her friends, just like her mama would have been. She was able to stand up and twirl around on the same stage Bianca had performed many school plays and choir concerts, and even graduated on.

The foundation was honored to be able to help the students of FCR in purchasing equipment for one of their elective courses, to further develop their technical skills. This would have been something Bianca would have enjoyed and been happy to help the current and future students who take the Digital Media course. 💜💜

In honor of Bianca’s 36th birthday, the foundation made a $3,600 donation to Griffin Pond Animal Shelter. Bianca loved her fur babies 🐾 and she would have been humbled to be able to donate money to help the shelter and all of the animals they help everyday.

We celebrate our girl turning 36 in heaven. We hope that to celebrate our angel, you can do a random act of kindness to spread her love 💜 we know she is looking down with a smile!
