About Us
We would like to introduce you to The Bianca Beck Memorial Foundation. The foundation was established in 2020 in honor of Bianca Beck. She was a loving mother, wife, daughter, sister, niece, cousin, and friend who passed away unexpectedly at the age of 30 on May 1, 2019. Bianca cared deeply for others and her community. You could often catch her crying tears of happiness or sadness for others, even if she did not know them. Her empathy, like her beautiful personality, was strong and fierce. Bianca has inspired her friends and family to continue her legacy of helping and caring for others.
The foundation will be hosting fundraisers and giving “gifts” to the community in honor of her. Bianca passed away at a hospital in New Jersey while traveling for a dream vacation that she did not get to experience. She suffered an arteriovenous malformation (AVM) and her organs were donated to help save the lives of others. Bianca understood the importance of being an organ donor and knew she wanted to help others when she passed. Bianca was able to donate all her major organs and tissue which helped over 200 people.
Bianca had a deep passion for rescuing dogs like her fur-children, Bear, Bella, and Bentley and enjoyed her career as a hearing specialist. She also was involved in the NEPA dance community for decades and wanted to help other girls find their confidence and strength through dance. The Bianca Beck Memorial Foundation’s mission is to raise awareness and funds for issues that were most important to Bianca; the foundation will specifically focus on organ donation awareness, animal rescue, hearing loss, and community dance class scholarships.
If you would like to contribute to our foundation, donations can either be made payable to The Bianca Beck Memorial Foundation and mailed to 914 Church Street, Honesdale, PA 18431 or through our PayPal account, bbeckmemorial@gmail.com. Any size donation is greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance for your continued support.

Meet The Team

Lisa Blake - President
Lisa Blake was born and raised in Peckville. When she married her husband, Kevin they bought a home in Browndale, where she resided for 24 years. Retirement brought her back to “the Valley ” where she is closer to her family and gets to spend precious time with her favorite little human, Bianca’s daughter, Brooklyn. In her spare time she loves to craft and recently started to read again.
On September 19, 1988 she was blessed to give birth to a beautiful baby girl that they named Bianca. Lisa comes from an Italian heritage. She chose Bianca’s name because it means pure, white, and true. She believes Bianca lived up to all of those, saying not only was she was not only her daughter, but her best friend.
Lisa is honored to be president of the Bianca Beck Memorial Foundation. She has such an emptiness without Bianca here and this foundation has not only allowed her to continue sharing stories about Bianca, but to help others along the way. Whether it’s talking about organ donation and transplantation, donating to a canine rescue in Bianca’s memory, donating to Hear USA where Bianca loved to aid her clients to better hearing, or sponsoring a child with dance lessons, the feeling of knowing Bianca would be overwhelmed with love and compassion keeps her going.

Dennis Beck Berrios - Vice President
Dennis is currently living in Richmond, VA, but grew up in Waymart, PA. He is currently a kindergarten teacher for Henrico County Public Schools. He enjoys exercising and traveling in his free time.
Dennis met Bianca during high school through their mutual friend, Loriann. Their paths crossed again when he transferred to Temple University in 2008. They had an instant connection and became fast friends. Lucky for him, she would eventually meet his brother Matthew and become a part of his family.
Dennis is the current Vice President of the Bianca Beck Memorial Foundation. It brings him such joy to spread Bianca’s legacy and story to those near and far. He looks forward to all that this organization can offer to those in need and knows that Bianca’s bright smile is shining down on him.

Gena Taylor - Secretary
Gena is the secretary for The Bianca Beck Memorial Foundation. She also owns a nail salon called ProfessioNails. She enjoys doing crafts, baking, CrossFit and spending time with family and friends.
Gena is very grateful to be part of this beautiful foundation to honor Bianca’s love for people by helping raise money for causes closest to her heart.

Mitchell Blake - Board Member
Mitchell is the brother of Bianca. Mitchell and Bianca grew up together living in the same home until Bianca was 16. Mitchell and Bianca did a lot together whether that was going for rides throughout her high school days, taking Mitchell places, or going to see family. They made the spontaneous decision to go skydiving together for Mitchell’s 18th birthday to celebrate!
Serving on the board gives Mitchell the opportunity to ensure that Bianca’s name will always be remembered and just how much of an unbelievable person she was. Mitchell is proud to be a part of the Bianca Beck Memorial Foundation because it is a foundation that is strong, promotes positivity, and most importantly gives back to those in need.

Matthew Beck - Board Member
Matt and Bianca met while attending Temple University, in Philadelphia in 2008. Dennis, Matt’s brother, introduced them to each other and they quickly became a couple. They lived in Philadelphia for 2 years, until moving to Mayfield, PA. This was the home they brought Brooklyn home to when she was born in 2017.
Matt is extremely grateful to be a part of this foundation. He feels it’s so important to keep Bianca’s memory alive, especially for Brooklyn. He wants her to know what an amazing woman her mother was, and how much she cared for her family and friends and all the good she did in the world around her.

Brianna Hummel - Board Member
Brianna is originally from Forest City, where her and Bianca first met. She currently lives in Lancaster county with her husband, Mike, and three children, Greyson, Declan, and Maggie Bianca. Bianca was Greyson’s Godmother. Brianna is busy as a stay-at-home mom, but in her spare time likes to make crafts with her Cricut and bake with her kids.
Brianna knew Bianca since they were in 5th grade and they quickly became best friends, and becoming a part of each others families. They kept in touch throughout their college years, visiting each other at school and getting together when home for the holidays. Their friendship continued through their weddings, being each other’s maid-of-honor, and starting their families.
Brianna is honored to be on the board of the foundation started in Bianca’s memory. She is dedicated to continuing Bianca’s legacy by helping raise funds that will be given to those in need. Bianca had such a big heart. Being able to do some good for those in need, in Bianca’s memory is a tremendous honor.

Loriann Crotti - Board Member
Loriann was fortunate to meet Bianca in middle school. When a childhood friend moved and started at a new school district, she was eager to introduce Loriann to her new friend she made, Bianca. They were friends from that moment on. Eventually becoming roommates in college, standing by each other when getting married, and starting to raise their babies together, and all the moments in between.
Serving on the board gives Loriann the chance to always remember the good that Bianca brought into our lives. By keeping her memory alive with the foundation, she hopes to continue bringing that “good” into the world that can be hard to find. She hopes the memory of Bianca will continue to shine through the Bianca Beck Memorial Foundation, all while helping those in need.

Noelle Griffiths - Board Member
Noelle met Bianca in 2007 during their Freshman year at Temple University. They became instant friends and lived together at Temple for the following three years.
She serves on the Board to help continue Bianca’s passion of making people smile. Noelle’s grandmother was Bianca’s customer at HearUSA in Clark Summit. Bianca provided her with the best hearing care and always made their appointments fun and memorable.
